26th Annual Homeownership Fair FACE Event

Hwarang values the importance of independence and self-preservation, thus the 26th Annual Homeownership Fair, organized by the nonprofit organization (FACE, standing for Faith and Community Empowerment), educates officers about the concepts of homeownership.

The event aids the knowledge of volunteers by relaying necessary information about owning a home such as the process of purchasing a home or notions like down payment. Hwarang members volunteered by helping to set up booths for the event, assisting people to check in to the fair, and greeting/leading guests.

People who attended the event were able to learn more about the down payment assistance programs available, meet available realtors that are familiar with Low or Moderate Income (LMI) or first-time homebuyers, discuss loan options from several mortgage professionals and lenders/banks, and meet successful graduates of the first 2 pillars of the FACE Homeownership program.

The event was able to run smoothly with the enthusiastic assistance of Hwarang members.
