Phone banking

As all Hwarang members strive to be community leaders, being politically intelligent and involved is also an essential asset. Therefore, in recent years, we have assisted with phone banking campaigns for a variety of political figures such as David Ryu and Joe Biden. Through this experience, members are able to contact citizens in the region, spreading awareness about candidates’ policies and future goals. In the form of shifts, members volunteered for two hour periods every week leading up to the elections. During this time, they gained a finer understanding of the community in which they resided in and a better sense of their political audience.

화랑 멤버들 모두가 지역 사회의 리더가 되기 위해 노력하는 만큼, 정치적으로 지능적이고 참여하는 것도 필수적인 자산입니다. 그래서 최근에는 데이비드 류(David Ryu)랑 조 바이든(Joe Biden) 같은 다양한 정치인들의 폰뱅킹 캠페인을 지원해왔습니다. 이러한 경험을 통해 회원들은 지역 시민들과 접촉하고 후보자의 정책과 향후 목표에 대한 인식을 확산시킬 수 있습니다. 교대 형식으로 회원들은 선거 전까지 매주 2시간 동안 봉사를 했습니다. 이 기간 동안 그들은 지역 사회에 대해 더 잘 이해하고 정치적 청중에 대해 더 나은 감각을 얻었습니다.
