SBA X KYCC X Hwarang CNPP Project
Empowering Asian Immigrant Owned Small Businesses Post Covid-19: A Survey by Ryan Thompson, Chloe Jung, Daniel Kim
In 2022-2023, Hwarang participated in the SBA's Community Navigator Pilot Program (CNPP), supporting small businesses in underserved communities. Through the “Korean American Business Development of Southern California” project, we provided essential business services to Korean American communities in Los Angeles and Orange Counties and conducted outreach to more than 3000 Asian-owned small businesses in those areas.
Our members also authored a research paper highlighting the program's impact and proposing further solutions for Asian-owned small businesses.
