In light of the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak and the upcoming flu season that continues to affect many individuals in the year 2023, Hwarang members operated in groups to pass out pamphlets informing people of a free double booster shot to ensure them safety for the Fall and Winter seasons where people are typically more susceptible to respiratory infections and illnesses. Hwarang members were able to reach a varied assortment of individuals around Wilshire Bulevard, MaDang Courtyard, and other crowded avenues in Los Angeles. Hwarang members communicated with encompassing labors, pedestrians, and visitors making sure they understood the information within the pamphlet and left without any lingering questions. Hwarang’s advocation for the Covid and Flu Vaccines helped promote awareness towards achieving a state of optimal health that can be given for free. Hwarang’s efforts to promote awareness is especially crucial, particularly as some individuals haven’t had the opportunity to receive vaccinations due to a lack of information or hesitancy in receiving one.
